The Dairy Classification and Technical Liaison Committee serves the interests of South African milk producers and was established by the MPO to provide a platform where all matters relating to the interpretation and application of existing legislation with regard to dairy products (imported, locally produced and destined for export) that impact on the primary dairy industry can be discussed, shortcomings and/or discrepancies identified and proposals formulated to address such shortcomings and/or discrepancies. The Committee meets on a quarterly basis.
