Belnori Boutique Cheesery awarded for outstanding achievements

Rina and Norman Belcher of Belnori Boutique Cheesery received the Gauteng Farmer of the Year Award from Agricultural Writers SA North at a function held in Pretoria on 21 October. The outstanding achievements of three commercial farmers, a new entrant into commercial agriculture and four agricultural personalities, were recognised at the awards function.

One of the aims of these awards is to highlight the role that farmers and agriculturists play in the agricultural sector in South Africa.  It is also important to note that the recipients of these awards have an impact on the broader economy of the country, as well as the Southern African region.

These candidates will all go through to the national awards ceremony of Agricultural Writers SA in Pretoria on 11 November where the national farmer, a new entrant into commercial agriculture and the top agriculturist, will be announced. Press release. The MPO congratulates Rina and Norman on their achievement! To read more, click HERE.
