Diarise seminar on Unconventional Gas in KwaZulu-Natal

WWF is hosting a seminar next week dealing with the threat of exploration and extraction of unconventional gas (fracking) in KwaZulu-Natal following two recent exploration applications by Rhino Oil & Gas, which now cover 40% of the province. The seminar will take place on Tuesday, 8 March 2016 from 09:00 to 13:00 at the Cedara Agricultural College. A number of local stakeholders have been invited and invitations distributed through Kwanalu and others. It is important for dairy farmers to attend the seminar in order to equip themselves with credible, expert information, particularly on the impact on water resources and agricultural production.
