Informative Farmers’ Day in Delareyville

MPO North hosted an informative Farmers’ Day at Delarey Restaurant in Delareyville on Thursday, 7 July 2016. MPO CEO Dr Chris van Dijk, economist Dr Koos Coetzee and managers Bertus van Heerden and Philip Swart gave an overview of the latest local and international economic trends and the MPO’s new strategy and services. Pieter Taljaard from Monsanto introduced the latest maize seed cultivars to dairy farmers and Mike Mouton from DeLaval gave tips and advice on how to increase milk production. MPO North chairman Johan Strydom thanked dairy farmers and sponsors for their contribution and support, even in difficult times.
