New Zealand still going strong

New Zealand’s Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is not worried about the 6% drop in dairy exports. The MPI’s outlook report  predicts  that dairy prices will increase in the next two years and that the industry’s future is good.  Jarred Mair, MPI director of sector policy, believes the industry will recover from the loss of its exports to Asia with improved productivity and better management of costs.

“Overall there has been a decrease of 6% in the value of dairy exports in the past year but an expected gradual price recovery should lead to increasing dairy export values in the next two years.”  To read more, click HERE.
