Nielsen reports increased dairy demand

The demand for dairy products continues to grow. Figures supplied by Nielsen and published by SAMPRO show that the demand for dairy products continue to increase. Changes in the demand for specific products in different periods are shown in Table 1.

The Nielsen figures reflected in Table 1 are based on a sample of retail outlets and do not exactly reflect the performance of the total dairy market. Although the sample does not include all sales of dairy products it does provide a clear indication of the positive growth of the dairy industry.
