End hunger by 2025

The spotlight was on South Africa’s increasing malnourished population at the New Partnership of Africa’s Development (NEPAD) three-day workshop held in Johannesburg recently. A goal was set to end hunger in the country by 2025. African leaders prioritised this challenge by putting it high on the agenda and showed their commitment towards bettering the general well-being of the population. This also includes strategies for lowering the percentage of underweight South Africans and those suffering from stunted growth by at least 5%.  To read more, click HERE.
