Coega Dairy expands its facilities

Coega Dairy celebrated the completion of the expansion of its warehouse and office facilities and five years of operations on 24 June 2016. Coega Dairy started production in 2011, is aligned with the largest retailers in South Africa and is at present one of the top UHT milk producers in South Africa. The new facilities include a UHT warehouse, a cold storage room for cheese products and a new office block. At the opening function the chairman of the company, Edgar Brotherton, stated: “Our vision was to create a facility that will allow milk producers in the region to grow their production, to support the local economy and to make it possible for dairy farmers to have a stable and sustainable milk buyer”.
