Successful Farmers’ Day in Potchefstroom

MPO North hosted a successful Farmers’ Day at Kumkani Lodge, Potchefstroom on Wednesday, 29 June 2016. The Milk Producers’ Organisation (MPO) shared information on the latest local and international economic trends and the MPO’s new strategy and services. Dr Chris van Dijk, MPO CEO and managers Bertus van Heerden and Philip Swart were the speakers. Dairy farmers received valuable advice from Kenneth Botha of Barnlab on feeding dairy animals in difficult times. Naas Gildenhuys was elected chairman of the Potchefstroom branch.
