The future begins here

The Israeli National Committee of the International Dairy Federation (IDF) and the Israeli Dairy Board will host the IDF World Dairy Summit, themed The future begins here,in Tel Aviv from 27 to 31 October 2014. IDF president Jeremy Hill urged the global dairy community to join the summit. The IDF World Dairy Summit provides an exceptional opportunity for improving knowledge and networking in all aspects of the dairy chain. The Israeli organising committee is working hard to create an attractive and innovative programme, which will challenge thinking on opportunities and current issues in the dairy sector. The summit will give exposure from global and local perspectives. “In this age of globalisation, it is essential that the industry gains international cooperation to deal with the problems of food supply and demand, feed, environment, energy, disease prevention and animal welfare. The MPO plans to organise a tour for dairy farmers to Israel, which will include farm visits, a tour of historical sites and attendance at the farmers’ dinner and conference during the summit.
